Silence Screams For You (writer's block poem)

by Curing the Comon Cliche   May 8, 2008

Sorry I'm so quiet
Verbal writer's block
I don't know what to say
So i don't think I should talk

How downcast is this quiet?
They say silence speaks for you
Well, this silence screams of many things
Feelings for people who don't feel them too

They say silence speaks for you
What weary words do they send?
What broken hearted sad song
Do they replay again?

Broken records say I talk in circles
But silence talks for me
Trapped inside the same glass house
Same view is all I see

Same view, same song
Same old poems again
An "I love you" or a "tragedy"
Or a "we'll remain 'Just Friends'"

Silence here speaks for you
"Just friends" roll off its tongue
But silence here doesn't speak to you
Silence screams till poem's done

PS: I know it's not good, I write poems when I have writer's block to get rid of writer's block
