Adolescent

by Barbara   May 8, 2008

An adolescent is what i'm known for.
But no one knows what i'm for sure.
so many changes going around.
I scream no one hears a sound.
being 17 is harder than you know.
I'm confused, where should i go?
Everyday new excitment, new surprises.
Everything I want has its prices.
I don't have time to fix any mistake.
The chances arise and all of them I take.
I look ahead so many dreams to reach.
The right path who will be there to teach?
Adolescent is what my friends are.
Some use weed to reach that star.
Broken hearts how can we forget.
it makes us teens so upset.
Negative words describe us, as they say.
21st century adolescent is what we are all day.
