Staring blankly into the unclear distance...

With a heavy sigh
and a release of pain
she feels whole again
but with nothing to gain

her blade runs across
her tensed up wrist
her eyes sight goes blurry
like she's surrounded my mist

she takes a deep breath in
and lets her tears fall
she's swaging to the dark
can you hear the devil call?

she finds her self passing
back and forth around her room
she can feel she's falling
plummeting to her doom

the moonlight reflects off the window
as she stair blankly off into space
does she have a reason
now that she's lost her place?

she closes her eyes again
and screams out so loud
she's giving up on what they think
cause she just cant make them proud

the room falls silent
and all her thoughts run blank
her life has no meaning
and societies to thank

she's fallen from the line
but they don't seem to care
they push her down harder
she knows that its not fair

she falls quiet
not a word from her was said
if only they could understand
whats running through her head

now in my room i sit
counting the reason i have left
why should i hold on
when i know I've failed this test?
