Thy Addiction

by StonedGooberz   May 8, 2008

Eyes green as a summer meadow
In which adventures come true
I'd never though I'd come this far
And still be in love with you

Your skin so irresistibly pale
Like a long awaited moonlight
In which I can dance with you
Are love fading into twilight

Without that beautiful smile
I'd become lost within madness
With now way to dry my tears
Its feeding something more then sadness

Though your voice reminds me heaven
And a sky full of shooting stars
That we can always wish upon
Healing what's left of our aching scars

It is your lips so full of passion
That drives my lovely ambition
For I know you know all of this
But kissing you is thy addiction

This poem was very well-written and had a great concept. The only thing was the grammar, some of it could be improved. Otherwise I loved reading this poem!
