Poem one

by Chloe Johnson   May 8, 2008

I stand my ground,
As I watch you distantly,
Ponder over the deceit of others,
Yet you cannot see me.

The tears you cry,
Fall and hit the floor,
My heart remains truthful,
But can barely take more.

How I long for you...
Your breath on my skin,
Caressing you softly,
Whispering words from within.

I can't find the answer,
When it is I who cares,
To you I am invisible,
I am here, and you are there.

Excellent piece and such heartfelt emotions of how you are invisible to your lover, yet you long for him to be with you. Here are some titles you might want to use instead of the current one: "Longing For Your Love", "Invisible To You", "Secretly Dreaming". Just some ideas. Well-expressed emotions and feelings, take care and keep writing, always and forever...
