Welcome To The Pits Of Life

by Was cut by a knife that said love   May 9, 2008

Welcome to Hell, Welcome to life
Welcome to the place you were born
The place you will surely die

The place you were used to no longer exists
Gone some where, disappeared
Vanished in the thick black mist

Your skittle rain drops, and wind that blew like bells
Is now screaming against your head
And hard brass lead shells

Look at the roses outside, go ahead push back the shades
Their red petals are now death black
And their thorns are now razor blades

Your dog is no longer sweet
He is foaming at the mouth
His eyes are burning red

Check out the once sweet red apples you had gotten
The juice is now slim
Now they are just rotten

Let the worm crawl across your tongue
The slim run down your throat
Let you choke on the piece of apple that was strung

Pick up the pretty vase
Watch it as it shatters into your hand
Everything around you is no longer safe

Brush out the tangles in your hair
Watch the pieces fall out
Watch them as they float in air

Look in the mirror at your beautiful head
The glass shatters and hits your eyes
Look at all the blood that is being shed

You have no hair, and now your blind
Your once beautiful world is now being torn down
Watch be untwined

This is the place you will surely die
This is reality.

Welcome to Hell, Welcome to life
