My kind

by Brandon Lee   May 9, 2008

For all my kind, there is no peace of mind.
It's as though with in my soul a window darker than the blackest hole.
It leaves only misery and destruction, which by all is tainted left open to corruption.
Even if I plead, I can find no peace.
Thats my kinds creed something which we can never leave.
Left praying only for our hearts resurrection.

Very deep and short. I feel like there could be more, but oh well. Great imagery and descriptions. 5/5 from me, take care...

"For all my kind, there is no peace of mind."

    Good rhyme scheme

"It's as though with in my soul a window darker than the blackest hole."

    Good imagery.

"It leaves only misery and destruction,"

    Perfect contrast.

"Even if I plead, I can find no peace.
Thats my kinds creed something which we can never leave.
Left praying only for our hearts resurrection. "

I like your ending. It started off well and ended perfectly. I would have preferred if you made this poem longer but the way it is is great.
