Plastic Hearts Should Bouce ((too bad glass ones don't))

by StandStill   May 9, 2008

Did you build this bridge
just so you could tear it down?
oh, the ecstasy of painful joy
spin the record around

Plastic hearts aren't meant to break
but what happens when plastic turns to glass?
drop it from the tallest tower
just to see the time pass

I'd love to go flying,
i just need the wings
can you hear it, dearest?
can you hear the silence sing?

Throw the hourglass to the ground
and watch the bridges burn
accidentally broke a plastic heart,
oh, lover, when will i ever learn?
