Disciplined love

by Ms.Sweets   May 10, 2008

He's my hero in the night.
The only one that takes away this awful fright.
Is it the way he holds my hand,
Or is it the feeling I got when we left land.
He takes me up high into the night sky.
He whispers in my ear-
-words that I cannot hear.
Numerous questions to ask
Why is it so risky to give away you heart.
When you know you're going to keep it from the very, very start.
He takes his heart out into his hand.
Oh the ecstasy is here.
Is this a dream?
Some short little scene?
Countless walls are stuck in-between
But only one will stand to see this queen.
Rushed before my eyes
Is a wounded, bleeding soul.
Not sure of what to do or even where to go
Sparkling and stunning.
It's his heart in my hand.
Like a crystal disco ball
We're miles above land
Taken from a place
That has never seen true light.
He puts it in a place
That will stay forever warm.
We fly off in separate directions
Not sure of how to love.
Looking back constantly
He's here and there,
Wait he's back again,
Holding my heart in a different hand.
Just one quick glance and then he's off again
But this is our love
A little bit here
And a little bit there
When can we breathe painlessly?
Without a miss in the air...
Loving feels good,
When I'm in your arms.
Always & forever
Yeah boy you've got charm
I look into your eyes.
-We never left land.
:)
