Mr. Bobbitt

by Lindsay   May 10, 2008

Dear Mr. Bobbitt,
I remember in biology
when you taught me
all about plants,
and when you stopped,
dropped, and rolled,
only to hit your head on the side of a desk.

You know, Mr. Bobbitt,
I remember in biology
when you taught me
about mycology,
and sparked a passion in me I didn't know was there.
(I still want your mushroom book, by the way)

Hey, Mr. Bobbitt,
I remember studying,
while you thought about skiing,
and being shocked the next semester to hear you broke your leg doing just that.

Truthfully, Mr. Bobbitt,
we all miss you very much,
as you are probably the most memorable,
and enjoyable teacher most of us have ever had.

Just get better soon,
so you can teach us more about plants,
and amuse us with your rants
about fungus infected banana's,
or indigenous endangered plants.

So, Mr. Bobbitt,
by the way,
we missed you most on our island camping trip,
and mentioned you thought the day,
so in a way
you were there with us,
on the trails,
and on the bus.

Therah says hello, and
they all wish you the very best.
So does Lorien, from the bike shop,
and all the rest
of the people you've left a mark on.

In conclusion: WE MISS YOU LOTS!
And if you have to be away, make the most of it man! Chill out and take it slow, cause we're all waiting for you back here where you belong.

From: Lindsay Piche. A student among many who can't wait for you to return.

This was a little on the long side for me
It really didn't keep my intrest
I thought the flow was kind of all over the place
but I liked the idea behind it
