A prayer for my dear brother

I thought I'd share my heartache with you
Sometimes it helps me to feel less blue
I have a dear brother you see
Who as MS, unfortunately

Fifteen years he's carried this disease
To be honest it's not been with ease
And as i see him deteriorate
This cruel disease i so much hate

I can see the pain within his eyes
Windows to our souls they tell no lies
Become a prisoner within himself
Frustration dominates life been dealt

Oh dear lord i ask thee each night
To help my brother keep up the fight
Our eternal love keeps us strong
Gives us the strength to carry on
