NEW BEGINNING POEM #13

MAY 1989 #13

Today is a new beginning,
To make a change for the good!
To not be ruled by habit,
To do what I know I should

To remember the consequences,
Of repeating my mistakes!
To be in control of my actions,
Is all that it takes!

To remember GOD is with me,
To guide me along the way.
To consider those effected,
By what I do each day!

To be A good example,
For my children , And my wife !
They are all that really matters,
To me in my life !

I have no guarantee,
Of ever having them by my side!
But if I struggle to deserve them,
Then I pray I'll be satisfied!
