I sit and wonder everyday
Why I can't be that girl
The one you care about the most
The one that's your whole world.

Why can't I be the one you hold
With touch so soft and sweet
The one you kiss and amazingly
You sweep me off my feet

I want to be the one you see
When everyone is around
And help you when you feel as if
You're losing all ground

I wish on stars that fade away
That I will find that guy
But like the stars,my dreams fade too.
And never say good-bye.

So maybe they'll come back to me
And I can wish again
