**I wrote this poem years ago.It was my very first poem.I wrote it as an assignment for the anniversary of 9/11 in 5th or 6th grade.It's cheesy but it's what made me keep writing poems.LOL.**
Freedom means the world to me
Each and every day
I say the pledge each morning
I know just what to say.
Freedom means the world to me
When the flag is flying high
Some people don't have freedom
And sometimes we don't know why
Freedom means the world to me
On everyday that's near
I don't take life for granted
Because tomorrow may not be here.
