Transfigurations Of Ashley

by Soulful Ensemble   May 11, 2008

Ashley in the warm air of the morning, every day,
Ashley in the hidden secrets of the delicate rose,
Ashley in the steam of the bread I wake up to eat,
Ashley in every pore and crevice of my skin,
Ashley in the sun in her velvet blouse
Ashley in every room and every wall of my house,
Ashley in the calm breathing of every flower,
with her hands out-stretched with power,
Ashley, reflecting from every single window,
Ashley beaming from the sky right into me,
Ashley at the bottom of every cup of water,
Ashley at the top of the Empire state building,
waving her white wand into my heart,
And shooting the first shot to start,
Ashley in the sky, floating like a cloud in disguise,
Ashley in the center of every dream, caressing my cheek,
Ashley, hidding in every cupboard, in every shelf,
Ashley in my closet, waiting to be held,
Ashley in foggy meadows, calling my name so clearly
Ashley walking towards me in the sunny beach
Ashley in every thought of every second, nothing else matters
Ashley on the table, next to me, eating dinner every night
Ashley on my bed, sleeping and holding me, through the twilight
Ashley from dawn to dusk and dusk to dawn
Ashley's name on everything man has named
Ashley in all the pretty things that give me worth
Ashley every where, and Ashley forever.
