Alcoholic Release.

Alcoholic Release.
By: Paula .C.

As I take another drink and the burning liquid slides down
my throat another stone from the confining wall of my emotions dissolves.
Yet I still continue to drink.
With each sip, each new wave of dizzing happiness, my emotions begin to
break free.
I can't stop!
The burning liquid whispers things I long to hear.
Promises of happiness...
Promises to rid me of this hidden pain...
My befuddled mind warns me that I am just falling into doom
But the drink is addictive!
I take another and another and another, drinking away everything letting myself free..
My mind to find ease, until the wall is no longer there and tear's slide like cutting steel
and with it all the emotions I fought to conceal.

Wow. That was so amazing. It doesn't have much of a stucture, but that helps with describing how uncontrolable her drinking is. It is very sad and emotional, yet happy in a way. Even though she's releasing her emotions in a counter-productive way, she's still releasing her emotions. It is even sadder when you realize a lot of people's lives are like this. Very excellant job.
    Keep writing,

I adore this line ---> The burning liquid whispers things I long to hear.

It reminds me of someone in my family.
