I kind of like this, not sure why but it seems to evoke memories. Not that I would have persued a girl that I could not come close to catching.
Opinions as always:
Line 2 stop after "everything"
Line 3 comma after year
Line 4 "time" comma
Line 9 convert to two lines after "you" start with "I"
Line 10 stop after "get" start last line with "Chasing"
give this a look and see how it makes you feel

that poem is direct ,less of those heavy words that unnecessary complicate sometimes.

What I've learned is to never give up. If you truly want something then fight for it to make it yours because if you dont then you will regret not trying hard...trust me. If I had given up on a love then it wouldnt have bloomed into what it is now.

Your punctuation needs some work. I personally find the whole "...." thing to be kind of annoying when used in excess. Also the whole poem just didn't really work for me. Word choice was weak and I feel that you could use some stronger words to make the poem more powerful.

I know what you mean, love is tough nice poem short and sweet

Awh, this is kind of sad. just know that if you are truly meant to be with someone then you guys will be together. i don't believe in wasting your time on love. it only makes you stronger for your next relationship that just could be the one. nice write.
