ANOTHER DAY PLACES IN TIME

A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME ! THE BIG 50

It seems I'm realizing just where I've been,
And what has happened along the way.
Some of it was sainthood, but most of it sin,
And I decided I just couldn't stay!

So I packed my bags, And journeyed on.
Knowing the only baggage I owned was pain!
If not for the abundance of my ever flowing love,
I could not have withstood the strain!

With a fragile smile upon my face.
A song of hope within my heart!
My memories of fondness, I did retrace,
Silently praying, for the pain to depart!

I slowly discovered pain was my motivation,
That kept me trying to (OUTRUN ITS TAILWIND)
Becoming increasingly (THANKFUL) for the realization,
I would one day be proud in the end!

The love I speak of has(CARRIED ME),
Through (TIME) I didn't have the strength to die!
Now its become the biggest part of me,
The guiding light of my minds eye!

So I try always, to let it naturally flow!
Leaving a trace with every step I take!
(IF) there is one thing in life I've come to know,
This will always be the best choice I could make!

I know one day my companion will come,
She will devour my love as I let it flow!
Bringing me closer to my total sum,
As we live out our lives, helping each other grow!
