I accept you

by Spoken Silence   May 13, 2008

Original is what you are,
Different from the rest.
But "strange" is what some would say.
But I accept you.

You may not look like others do,
You don't dress like them either.
I know you hate to act like them.
But I accept you.

You brush your hair differently,
You put your make up on differently.
You definitely talk differently.
But I accept you.

I guess since no one else can accept me.
I have to. So as I look at this mirror on my wall,
I tell myself,
I accept you.
