This house is not a home

by Nobody   May 13, 2008

This house is not a home but a prison
this house isn't filled with love only with hate
there are no more sweet days of yester-year
now only pain and fear

this house is not sweet, this house is not kind
this house will slowly poison your mind
mommy is gone and daddy is no more
for beer and anger have set his mind ablaze
leaving his children in tormented daze

this house has taken heavens light
replacing it with darkness of night
the little ones have thrown in the towel to day
it is worhtless to hope dream and pray

for this house is not home

This is very sad. It's full of real emotion and sometimes these reads are the best but you my dear are a good writer as you have something special and unique.

    Take care, Em

Its like looking in a mirror...almost. Let the writing continue to be your outlet, and you will one day be in the driver's seat. dont let this reality be your forever-dont forget to trust-someone will be there, and you will have much happier things to write about! I walked your path once...and am a happy 40 something drug/alcohol free happy married mom!
