Poor Helpless Girl.

Step by step, left then right,
She locks herself in her room to get rid of her fright.
She kneels down next to her bed,
Closing her beautiful brown eyes and bowing her head.
Se prays one day the fears of her breaking family go away,
As she closes her eyes tighter trying not to shed a tear she continues to pray,
As the moon goes down, and the sun comes up tomorrow,
Please bring me no more sorrow.
She wishes her once loving happy family could again be happy,
Especially since she lost her one and only best friend her life has gotten even more crappy.
Her parents no longer get along at home,
Which is one of the main reasons she feels so alone.
Her dad sitting there with the alcohol at hand,
And what he tells his family, and tries to demand.
She tries so hard to talk to her mom, but she just wont listen,
Her mom doesn't realize all that she is actually missing.
No longer having her friend by her side,
This poor helpless girl has become sleep deprived.
She will walk into school with clack circles under her eyes,
Although, only one person has ever noticed she sits at her desk and cries.
One day at lunch time he notices she doesn't stay,
He sees her long brown hair blowing in the wind as she walks away.
He runs over to her and taps her back,
As she jumps and lets out a slight scream because she thought she was about to get attacked.
He apologizes for scaring her the horrid way he did,
He just wanted to know how this poor girl really is.
He looked into her gorgeous glowing brown eyes,
As she looked into his stunning pale green ones and sighs.
After this day, the two of them became the closest of friends,
There loving friendship was to never end.
This boy was the only one she could tell some of her deepest and darkest secrets to,
She was the only one he cared about and hated to see her when she was sad, teary eyed, and blue.
One day she went to school all beaten, bruised and crying,
He took one look at this sad girl and realized that inside she was slowly dying.
Years went on and days went by,
Time for both of them to go off to their own colleges, this would be a goodbye.
He reminded her, sometimes you may be alone without me there,
But don't you let those brown eyes fill with tears, no don't you dare.
Just close those big beautiful eyes of yours and picture me there to help you stay calm,
This way it is impossible for anything to go wrong.
Before you go to sleep at night, kneel down and say, as the moon goes down and the soon comes up tomorrow,
