Our Happy Ending

I was supposed to be over you, but you had to resurrect the feelings that I once had for you. You had to play with the fire and watch as the sparks began to fly. Secretly you laughed as I took in your lies of love. As if putting my heart through the pain the first time wasn't enough.
I'm already going through hell; I didn't need you lies suffocating me and dragging me down deeper into the darkness. Pulling me underwater with it flowing into my lungs has I tried to breathe. SHUT UP! Get out of my head. Anymore of your lies will lead me to death.
Don't tell me me how you feel if you can't show me first. Have you ever heard the saying, "Your actions speak louder than your words."? Instead of shoving me into the darkness by telling me something that can never be, bring me back to the light and just be my friend. Maybe then we can both find our happy ending...
