Love Springs

by Richard Machado   May 14, 2008

Almond cherry coconuts
fall and sing and spread
The air around us into a misty
Sprinkle of fragrant dranium.

Footprints in the earth,
Squish under soft mossy frolicking
In our dreams, and rush out
Through the seams in effloresce.

In mind, is love and the green
Baby flesh of a bud to bloom.
Metamorphoses cusp into firm reds
And soft blues revealing all our truths.

The yellow sun is rising now,
Shining on the shadows I was living in.
Life is pumping in me, now--searching in my sky;--
My heart is full, because you are what I find.
