The hurt of a broken heart

Each hour i go on
pretending to be okay
holding my head high
its just another day

blinking back thetears
lying through my smile
one day it will be real..
it might just take awhile

at home im always reminded
my family just dont care
i sit at the table crying
but the tears to them arent there

i cant stand it too much longer
the lying is getting old
i'll pull the blanket higher
but still feel the cold

my smiles getting fake
my eyes are showing tears
i bite my lip and realise..
broken hearts hurt for years

    That is amazing i like how you made every other line rhyme and you used simple words to get your poing across and when its read you can feel the pain and hurt it totally describes what ive been going through for a while now... 5 outta 5
