Splash, silver crashes down
Blueish sparkles in my hair
Water drips from my face
I blink it from my eyes.
I hear my friends
I hear their calls
They walk so near to me that I
Can't help but feel contented.
Cooling water on a sunny day
Swimming, playing with my friends
Contented, bright, a sudden smile
I let myself sink about an inch
I rolld on the sand
And look up at the scorching sun.
I lift myself up on my elbows
The golden horizon reaching away to moutains.
I gaze at the ground, a grain of sand.
A single drop of cool water falls from my locks
And is absorbed by the sands of time
Isolation.
I look back behind me, to the splash and the fun
I look to my future and see everyone
I look inside me and the desert I see
I turn myself inside out and think,
