Infinite pain,
Endless shame,
Disapproving looks,
Hardened heart.

Misery, Sorrow,
Deafened laughter,
Never ending disappointment,
Who cares about tomorrow.

Buried lies,
Naked Truths,
Judging minds,
Penetrating eyes.

Pleasure seeking heart,
Let down once again,
All I wanted,
Was for life to give me a friend.

Hopes giving up,
Dreams shattering into oblivion,
Voices drowned out,
Just me and my depression.

Handful of pills,
Didn't do the trick,
One pull of the trigger,
Should fix this mistake.

Guilty feelings,
Heavy heart,
Second thoughts,
No gunshots.
