The Stranger You've Become.

by Sarah   May 14, 2008

Summer Turns Into Fall.
I Stare Down The School Hall.
You Were Standing There.
And A Feeling Came That I Couldn't Bear.
With The Right People, I Begged You To Come.
You Heard, But Ignored Me.
Like The Stranger You've Become.

Days Later, And Still I Try.
So Many People Who Cared For You Now Cry.
Arrogant, Egotistical, Selfish;
Look At Yourself, Was This Your Wish?
Pushing Aside Those Who Cared Most About You
And Leaving Them To Think If Anything You Said Was True.
Into The Light, I Begged You To Come.
But You Slipped Into The Dark
Lost In The Shadow Of The Stranger You've Become.

Weeks Go By And Try As I Might
To Bring You Back From The Dark To The Light.
Every So Often I Look Into Your Eyes
And See Them Blinded By Your Endless Lies.
You Start Complaining About Being Alone And Glum.
You Have No Reason To.
Holding Your Hand Is The Stranger You've Become.

Weeks Turn Into Months, And Nothing To Do But Wait.
You Cry Out For My Help, But It's Too Late.
Reaching Out For My Hand To Lend
I Search For Who I Used To Call My Best Friend.
You'll Never Know The Hurt You've Done.
No, Not What You've Done,
But The Stranger You've Become.

Summer Turns Into Fall.
I No Longer See You In The School Hall.
Someone Different Stands There.
The Feeling Comes That I STILL Can't Bear.
With The Right People, No Use Pleading You To Come.
You've Finally Fallen Victim To The Change,
To The Stranger You've Become.

Into every life some rain must fall and I guess there was a small rain storm here where the emotions rained down and left their mark. keep up the writes and screw the strangers. they probably dont deserve you
