Life is Knocking ((Not all angels have wings))

by StandStill   May 14, 2008

Stronger than perceived to be,
even when she's a bleeding mess
oh, gentle sins, i deplore thee,
allow her to confess

Not all angelic wings
radiate snowy feathers
and not all glittering gold
is to be beheld as a lovely treasure

Fly your metaphoric wings
take them to these vertigo heights
take her high enough,
that she can see the glowing lights

Rain is pouring harder,
can you feel it in your veins
take a deeper breath,
pure redemption from your pains

Mercy at its heighest forms
an electric, living blue
oh, dear reader, open your eyes,
life is knocking, you know its' true
