Dance with me ((in the rain))

by StandStill   May 15, 2008

Oh, lovely spring rain,
realistic chill in the air,
take a walk with me,
remind me that you're there

Will you hold my hand?
I'll dance you through the rain
make it all a memory,
disappearing pain

I hate to be repetitive
I hate to be cliche,
but come and take a walk with me,
let this downpour wash it away

A fine drizzling halo,
thunder reminds you of your strength
such a momentous aura for this moment,
oh, too short for it's time length

Hand in hand we'll walk,
lover, don't be afraid,
breathe life in this moment,
just enjoy the rain

**i finally wrote a response to your november rain poem, jesse**

***Dedicated to my friends...who helped me through the rain. thanks for making life worth living. shall we dance?.***
