TO THAT UNSPOKEN

by Kevin   May 28, 2004

I can feel it’s tickle
I flinch as it dances round
brushing my face with velvet fingers
Do you dare to?

Run boy run!!
don’t look back!
these gentle strokes your heart could crack!

And you……
who holds the silken whip
10 lashes please
spare me not
I need to feel
so please be quick

Later…..
I try to hate her
eyes so full
of care and wonder
open arms
and parted lips
my bleeding heart
she means to plunder

Yo Racheal, thanks for the review.

yep i read some of your poems, liked the issues, and the sensitive way you approached them.

I would say though, that maybe as an experiment in writing, you could try to make a poem with more metaphor or symbolism...and maybe less words..more meaning...
