Happy Mother's Day

I don't know where to start
I don't know what to say
I guess I'll start by thanking you
On this special day

You're always there through everything
Through the good and bad
Thank you for being there
And sorry for the times I made you mad

You've been a great mother
You've always tried to be there for me
And I know even though we argue
You'd still try to listen to me

You've put up with my attitude
Each and every year
And I know if you could
You'd make all of my problems disappear

You never gave up on me
Even when I made the worst mistakes
But I'm trying my hardest to improve
I'm doing whatever it takes

Your love and support
Throughout all these years
Have given me strength
To see through my tears

I appreciate you more than you realize
Even though it doesn't always show
I love you more than life itself
I hope that you'll always know

You think about everyone else first
But today's our day to think about you
To thank you for the things you say
And everything you do

Though we may not say it
Without you we couldn't live
Because everything we have
Is everything you give

I know I've said and done things to hurt you
And I know that it hurt you inside
But I can't erase the things I did
No matter how much I tried

Today's the day I want to say I'm sorry
For all the things I've done
I'll try my best to make you happy
Though I'm not the perfect one

Without you I would not
Be who I am today
You'll always be my hero
Forever, each and every day

I'm glad to have a mother like you
To me, you're the best around
You'd catch me whenever I fall
You'd never let me hit the ground
