There's hunger
Amongst us
and we take
for granted
for what we have
There's people
starving
there lives away
as we waste
they don't eat
mouths wide open
waiting for food
that's not coming fast
enough
as children play
there lives
are in danger
of starvation
because we only think
of ourselves
as for all we know
it's our neighbor's
next door
