Death waltz

by dante   May 16, 2008

My angel of death
My partner in sadness
Will you not dance with me
Come lose yourself on the ballroom floor in chaotic symphony

Let us waltz across the marble
Until the song is at an end
Then to my deathbed I will return
Until once again you send

To give you mere amusement, you
The reapers only daughter
You dance with me in pure bliss
Then bring me to the slaughter

Which one of us enjoys it more
The dead one or the death
The answer, both, because of course
We’ve both had your last breath
