Inside the Stone

by Sheila   May 16, 2008

Everyone judges my outer
No one for my inner
I’ve seen many places
As well as many things
I’ve been physically hurt
Without people knowing
My feelings
Yet I don’t nor can’t complain
I’ve been here for years
I’ve been here for centuries
What can I say?
All I have is memories
I use to be written on
I’m glad it stopped
But now no one
Cares about me
So what can I do?
Just lay here and
Get kicked or cracked
Open by the scientist
Who just stares
I’m just a stone
But I have a
Precious secret
Inside no one knows
Just the people who care
