Do you remember ((yellow cars and roses))

by StandStill   May 16, 2008

Maybe i sound repetitive,
because i just repeat myself, change the tune,
and Darling, i don't care where we're goin',
swing me to the moon

Do you know what is to be the answer
to the prayer somebody's been lookin' for?
No, i suppose you musn't,
or you wouldn't still be looking for more

Remind me of those summer days,
singing underneath bright stars,
oh essence of "shoot the breeze"
counting every yellow car

I remember Valentine's,
a year and a half ago,
back when i was miss incredible,
back before you could know

Do you remember way-back-whens,
back before the world fell apart?
do you remember lazy summer days,
back before you broke my heart?

So I don't quite care where we're going,
I just know we're getting there,
why bother smelling the roses as we walk by,
when we can stop and stare?

**this is actually a mix of a lot of people, so i'll just say that it's dedicated to anyone i've ever loved or cared about...**
