Free Spirit

She races along
Mane and tail flying
Hoofs spraying dirt

I watch her race
Sweat glistening brightly
Ears flat against the wind

Frolicking in the evening
Suckling her foal
Grazing in earnest

Jumping hedges
Striking the ground
Wild as the wind

Loved this, I especially liked the very last line, nice way to tie and end it all. I can't believe no one has commented yet, this is a really good poem, with a good flow and good words. Nice work and keep writing!
