Loseing an Angel

I kissed an angel when i kissed you.
I slipped and began to fall and there
was nothing that i could do.
In you arms I found peace and in your
eyes i found eternity. Once i was blind
to love, but you made me belive,
you made me see. When i couldnt fly anymore
you lifted me up and mended my broken wing.
When i lay my head upon you chest, i can
hear your heart sing. Now i smile and
hold back my tears, as you fly away. I let you go
when all i wanted was for you to stay. Look
back and i will still smile but my heart is crying.
