Why did I have to be this way,
I've seen the looks you give to me
like you want to know more about me
in the halls you stop and talk to me
you fought so hard to get my attention
I've seen the way you smile when I walk into
your sight
you'd ditch your friends just to walk me home
you ask me so many questions like my hearts
some kind of game you have to win.
you'd wait by my locker just to say hi
and when I'd had a bad day you'd smile and ask why
you knew just how to cheer me up.
I'd say i was broken and can never be fixed
you'd smile say you i might not be able fix you but i can sure try
we'd smile and laugh and I'd ask the reason why.
I couldnt love you!
