TALL TALES

by tonya   May 17, 2008

They whisper tales behind my back
Try to break me with cruel attacks.

It doesn't matter they won't succeed
Failing pride won't fill up their greed.

I'll laugh in your face;
No longer a little girl.
Been through so much
True colors reveled.

Because I'm unique? Because I express!?
You're wasting your time building up stress.

Free to rebel!
Free to uproar!
Keep 'em coming; my ego's not sore.

Halt the authority
Suspend the power over me;
Try to control me now!
She chuckled and left it as be
