Three Simple Words

I'm so proud of myself-I talked to you today. Don't ask me where the courage came from, cause I almost chickened out. When I looked into your beautiful eyes, my heart melted, and my mind went blank. Somewhere down deep, something made me speak, and I've never been so scared in my life. I said what I'd been planning for days, but I didn't know what you would say to me-if you'd say anything at all. I said 11 easy words, and I'm pretty sure the world stopped when I did. I felt like an idiot, but at least I could say I tried. Everyone said I looked high afterwards- I think I might have been. Many things happened today, but my favorite part was when you looked at me, and said three words. Simple, and easy, yes, but they were three simple words that made today one of the best days ever. No, they weren't "I love you," but "No, not today," made me just as happy. <3
