Dance the dance ((of liars))

by StandStill   May 17, 2008

Oh, let's dance a dance,
the only kind you seem to like,
the dance of liars, in time with pain,
doesn't that sound nice?

You can wrap yourself in lies,
I'll dress in pleasantries,
dance a little faster dear,
let's see who breaks first, you or me

Feel the beat in your veins,
I'll feel it on my skin,
are we moving too fast now?
I can't hear you o'er music's din

I'm sure you're saying something,
and i just can't seem to hear,
just keep your feet moving,
we'll make it through, my dear

Lies make a lovely dance,
a dance that's almost done,
who shall stop dancing first?
how long can you run?
