Just sit there to Die

by Collin   May 18, 2008

Mommas in the other room
While your still crying here
Never, my little bruised up face
Will I leave you dear

You called me your father
You called me a ghost
Think I'm an angel
Well I dont stand for most

I stand for the hurt
I stand for the broke
But the ones that stick up
Not like most folk

I'm the punch in your face
The kick in your shin
The love that stays
While your patience runs thin

That will in your heart
That voice that says no
Don't hit back girl
Just know they don't know

Your scrapes they will heal
Your bruise will let in
But for your mother my dear
Shell hurt till the end

Shell try and shell try
But shell fail once more
Shell drink till the day
That her liver is sore

That knife she will think
Is not nearly sharp enough
To cut through this sorrow
And pain oh so rough

Shell forget about you
She forgot about me
Waste till the end
And just sit there to die.
