As we grow Older

by SilentSuicide   May 18, 2008

Now Ive realized
Deep down inside
as we get older
We can no longer hide

The older we get
The tears grow stronger
More dreams shattered
The scars grow longer

Were more alone
Loosing nights
As we get older
Were loosing fights

We cant make up
for our past
One wrong move
Could be your last

Bleeding from scars
Blinded by tears
Stunned by love
Screaming from fears

So hold on to the preset
Don't let it fade away
You turn my nights to color
when they fade to Grey

The older we get
We will hold on to each other
Watch each others backs
protect one another

As we get older
we realized
no time for games
or a pointless fantasize

theres no time to waste
Take the hand i lend
For as we get older
it could be the end.
