I refuse ((to pity an ugly angel))

by StandStill   May 18, 2008

I'm sure there are words to write,
just as I am sure there are hearts that bleed,
oh, what's an alleged-angel to do
when she fails all those who are in need

Just another repition,
there seems to be too many of those,
reader, close your eyes and visualize,
tired tear falling on the angel's clothes

Falling is ne'er what kills us,
it's the landing that always hurts
i hate the angel, can't pity her,
laugh with me, she's in the dirt

Stupid ugly angel,
never going to amount,
always going to lose the war,
the battle never counts

Don't forget, sweet angel,
there's further still to fall,
always a lower point in life,
can you hear your disease call?
