The Unveiled Bride

by huddy   May 18, 2008

The unveiled bride!
so beautiful yet young on the inside
Her voice could be heard across the riverside
As her beauty ran down along time
The beauty of the Unveiled bride

I was once tender yet known
I held the left hand for the ring to be worn,
And the vows to be sworn
I held the finger in the midst, with a ring of gold
And now it's all but a story simply told

I was once the song of the church services,
I held the key to the chapel's premises
I was a beauty that called many for wishes
It was the wishes for them all to be, the unveiled bride.

The bitter heart could but tell a lie
This entangled path of dreams could but once dry; as she crossed by.
Please dont cry for iam by your side
I but you the unveiled bride
