The Art of Falling: Ode to Joy

by Daniel Mulvany   May 18, 2008

Oh, to fight this feeling,
This feeling of falling,
Of falling for you,
I'm falling for you.

Oh, to feel this feeling,
Of a heart calling,
Calling for you,
For a love anew.

Oh, why do I fight,
Do I fight this feeling?
This feeling of falling,
Of falling in love,
In love with you.

I ask if it's right,
Here where in kneeling,
I find enthralling,
Overwhelming love.
But love for you?

I wish I knew.

This obsession:
Resplendent cancer;
And at no end,
Consuming me.

In this question,
What is my answer?
And can I bend,
Bend to see?

But then again,
Are you also falling,
Falling for me?

That ending was so beautiful and the poem was full of emotion, the repetitive style was used well too. 5/5
