Heaven's Rainbow [Double Lento]
Sent to Earth in the form of Spring

Rain dances with silhouettes
Chain melodies whisper song
Refrain of tranquil winds
Lane twists and twirls along

Street lamps admire silver droplets
Beat of symphonic music serene
Concrete thumping pitter-patter
Sweet aroma of nature's green

Blooms slumber till morning dawn
Perfume scent casts a spell
Womb frozen in time reborn
Tomb of darkness bids farewell

Pressing buds sprout, splendid color
Blessings sent from heaven's high
Caressing hands of the Creator
Dressing the Earth thus from painted sky

For some reason this part of the poem touches me. It shows the tender beauty of nature which we sometimes take for granted.
A fresh write that makes the reader smile.
    Take care

^^wow.. this stanza is so beautifully written...
'Caressing hands of the Creator' - the reference to God that he himself created and decorated earth with with each beauty makes the poem even more captivating...very impressive write...

    Luanne,
Oh Dear I could not pick a favorite stanza or line, I simply loved them all. Each exquisitely placed word made the poem. You provided such beautiful imagery. I got lost in the poem and found myself at each moment watching the raindrops glisten off lamp post and bouncing off the concrete. I could even smell the rain. Oh and then the most beautiful effect of the dreariness of rain you spoke of the beauty of it. Wonderful Job!
