The Words I Fail To Deliver.

by Courageous Dreamer   May 18, 2008

I saw you again today.
I looked right at your pretty eyes.
You looked at me. Then walked past me.

For that moment, I felt like it was perfect.
I felt like this was the perfect time to deliver those words to you, but I couldn't. I choked.
Like I always do, and always will.

I got instant butterflies,
and I just wish I could have delivered those words.
Because, I want you to know how I feel about you,
But I don't want a awkward vibe back in return.

I'm scared to push myself out further to you,
I don't want to be the one to be hurt.
I want everything to work out perfectly,
But I can't always believe that things will just go my way.

I failed to deliver these words once again,
and I failed at the perfect time.
So, I will just keep on crushing like I always have,
and possibly that one perfect moment will come again in the future.

I laughed a little at this poem because I can imagine this at a high school when a girl falls for her perfect man. The wording was perfect decribing this point. Its hard talking to your crush with out feeling flustered. :). This is a very cute poem worded so well 5
