Waiting

by Casey Lynn   May 18, 2008

I've walked away for far to many years
I've followed you through all my fears
I"ve dreamt of you, your hands round my waist
You're fingertips brushing every little place

And...

I'll wait for you
I dream of you
I melt into every little word
That just fades away

I've never felt like this before
cliche words that mean so much more
But what's there to say about the pain we feel inside
There's so much more to life than being along for the ride

And yet...

I'll wait for you
I dream of you
I melt into every little word
That just fades away

The lies stream from your tongue
You swear you've changed
It wouldn't matter anyway
I never left you not even for a day

Because

I wait for you
I dream of you
I melt into every little word
That just fades away
