Your Sympathy

by Steady Stereotype   May 18, 2008

Disgusting...
Tis what I say to thee,
Pathetic,
I say is what I think of me.

Why is it?
That every time I try,
I fall back into this dark pit?
That half the times I lie,
Tis for thee nor me?

Is it for these eyes of mine,
Can not see anything fine?
That he shan't speak a positive,
That he condemned me to fall from this cliff?

Tis so hard,
I must know best
My pathetic parody.
My heart, my unsteady rest.

My six words I wonder
What they be,
My pathetic life I ponder,
What would best describe me.

I can finally admit,
Me to be pathetic.
My heart finally been hit,
I wish for you to be sympathetic.
Disgusting I must say
To find my words, to stab with thy knife:
My pathetic parody of a life.

Author's Note: Six words referes to 'Our Life in Six Words' a project in school that everyone except our class had. i was wondering what mine would be sort of thing.

Well done! Just something about it made it feel so real.

This is a well written poem, full of pain and sorrow, and very dark in deed. I give you props on this, amen.
